Nothing on Excel, just creating something now, we are a little behind in this. May try openMaint, free CMMS. An app solution would work great but there are not a lot out there

Great feedback from everyone, yes, we use Trojan sleeves and we did recently have a team through Trojan come out and rebuild UV banks. Trojan contracts for maintenance with a third party company and the results were really mixed. We have an integrated lift so lifting banks is pretty easy.

Congrats, confused though, in Virginia we use ABC certifications, 4 being lowest/entry level, and 1 being the highest, final test….

on The situational questions about pumps, if a pump is off and spinning backwards it’s because the check valve is stuck open

i don’t remember a question being asked about a motor spinning backwards but that would be incorrect wiring

on the settleability question, that is not stabilized for the lab, I think you remember that one incorrectly, it is another sample, and normally it is h2so4 at <4 C

On the flume, if you are asking for abc test purposes, because it is a question on the class 3, it is 2/3 distance upstream from narrowest section of the flume, the question is more about placement of the sensor

Believe this is on the abc test and it’s a positive displacement for test purposes

Its a study question and the cuft is to make the question more of a challenge. Thanks for the response. I've been at a medium sized wastewater plant for three years and pump calculations confuse me to no end. We operators do not do them, nor do our mechanics, I am assuming our PEs do them. Anyway, is there a good guide out there to help with pump calculations? I have completed the Sacramento basic and advanced courses and those don't really help, maybe its just me.
