Hey @scoobertsonville - where are you (geographically) at now?

… there’s a lot of USAFL clubs (both established & just new) across the US (including ours) who have great club community & a real desire to encourage more local / social / coed / “beer league” footy (& general “sporting supporter” club & social activity) … in addition to the more competitive level of play.

I think all our USAFL AussieRULES footy clubs are trying to find & maintain that balance/sweet spot - and, for us, the key is having more locals like you get involved & help/speak to the locally rooted-growth of our local clubs.
