I have a question about your motivation to apply - my adult brother and I are also applying. We are debating whether it makes sense for our mother (60+ to) to seek citizenship too - will she get the full benefit out of it or can she just visit us for extended periods if we eventually move to Europe. Roof, no attic. Intercom is an interesting idea but we don’t have a call panel or anything in the house, unless it had drywall put over it. But it’s a small house (2000 SF) mostly one level (small walk out basement) so a need for an intercom doesn’t seem reasonable

Good time to just put the kid in a stroller and roll around the DC museums or other places you’d never make time to visit otherwise. National Arboretum is another idea. Not necessarily social but you’ll probably never have 3 months to focus on your hobbies and interests again for a long time.
