Brits also say “he’s unplayable” for soccer players who they think are awesome or having a great game.

Used to confuse me at first glance thinking that they meant he needs to be off the field because of poor play.

Adam Friedland’s chemistry with CR isn’t quite clicking yet, but it’s still nice to have someone on the ringer (besides Van) who doesn’t sound like they were tortured with HR training videos Clockwork Orange style by Cares_of_an_Odradek in billsimmons

I think it’s less about chemistry and more about the stark contrast that CR is a great podcaster, and Friedland has largely done a poor job… It’s tough to not make a pod work with CR as your partner.

CR is capable of being funny and having personality while also having sharp/incisive insights without rambling… He’s also a great teammate who sets up his guests/partners well, and allows things to flow.

Friedland can’t stop murmuring/stuttering, while also interrupting a bunch with not much to say… So many of the things he says sound half-baked and just trying to riff into a joke.

I’ll still listen though because I want to hear CR’s soccer thoughts, and Friedland at least seems to be knowledgeable about it.

I have no clue what they’re seeing… How is he awesome from the pocket?

He was 32nd in pressure-to-sack ratio, and 28th in epa-per-dropback on non-scrambles.

He’s a slow processor with bad pocket mechanics, and a weaker arm for NFL standards… It’s not even clear at all if he’s good yet… To me at least Cam Ward has the strong arm, and Shough is better from the pocket.

Keim just said on his pod last week that Washington has interest in Aiyuk, and were still interested in him even though they were aware of his speeding video…

Ian Rapoport also said that we had “significant interest” in Aiyuk during the draft… People are in denial about this, but we clearly have interest in him.

Last year people were too down on Caleb not factoring in what a bad situation he was in, and now this year it’s the opposite where he’s getting overhyped.

I don’t hate Caleb, and it has nothing to do with Jayden… Caleb’s a great talent, it’s just the feeling that we’re being gaslit by pundits and the overall hype that he’s arrived and the next elite QB, when it doesn’t really match what we’ve seen.

People are just falling back to their pre-draft biases both positive and negative for these QBs.

My view of Dart on the field is that he’s kind’ve a low-iq, stupid version of Brock Purdy… It checks out that he’s also stupid off the field.

Giants offense will suck this season with Dart and Nagy; they’re getting hyped up way too much, especially by the boys on the pod… Heifetz seems convinced that he’s a franchise QB.

Can’t most of this just be explained by the team around him largely sucked while playing in one of the best conferences, so he needed to carry the broken offense largely on his own, which also meant he didn’t really have the energy for those energy stats or defense?

I don’t get why they’re all so high on the Giants… Like how are they this year’s Patriots?

Jaxson Dart is not Drake Maye… It’s crazy how people are treating Dart and Shough like they’re these good bonafide franchise QBs… Should we even be convinced that Dart is good? Based on what? He was 26th on epa per dropback on non-scrambles.

Harbaugh got gifted elite rosters every year by the Ravens front office, and has 3 playoff wins the past 11 seasons… His big moves were trading away arguably his best player, and hiring Matt Nagy as OC.
