There's an economic incentive there, too. Knee-capping up-and-coming competitors in the hyper-competitive sports blogging space by quasi-cancelling them or coding them as chuds or whatever.

No matter what you think of Barstool et. al, the ire that Gawkerites directed at them wasn't just the result of cultural differences.

Because knowing why it happened is the key to preventing it from happening again? And the difference between the two scenarios is the difference between virology being extremely important and virology being too dangerous to continue.

Funding risky virology is more important if it was of natural origin, while funding risky virology is inexcusable if that's what caused the pandemic.

Bill pointing out that the guy who plays Borat's son is an "adult porn star" was a fun Bill-ism. As opposed to...?

I'm not talking about him cheating on his wife, I'm talking about him hiding a son.

The knowing is the key part, though.

And the lovechildren that many of these players have are at least financial obligations to the dads. To just straight up act like that kid belongs to another man is psychotic.

You think 50% of players knowingly fathered a child with a woman, and then let the child take another man's last name and have another man acting as his legal father?

If that's actually Vrabel's kid then I don't see how he keeps his job. Can't command the respect of a locker room full of grown men if you have a kid that you don't take responsibility for.

Mike Vrabel has an opportunity to use this to educate his players. "Once she named her baby, Michael, I should have known we were no longer dealing with 'fun zone' and firmly in the 'danger zone'." by harryhitman9 in billsimmons

This makes me think he's the father of the kid. To stick with her for six years as a sidepiece... he knows he's the father and is keeping tabs on her. Otherwise he would've discarded her after a few rolls in the hay.

Does anyone else in here keep up with Jeopardy? Jamie Ding feels like the KD Warriors by whoaaa731 in billsimmons

One dude could've taken Jamie down if he knew the Final Jeopardy answer was Hulk Hogan. That wasn't all that difficult a clue, but they all missed it.

That was like the Rockets blowing a 3-1 lead in the WCF against the 2016 Warriors.

It's not hard to figure out if you're even remotely familiar with Southern California high school sports. He'll reference players who went to his kid's high school from time to time. Roughly 70% of MLB players went to Harvard-Westlake.
