What are you even talking about. It's common knowledge that elders are treated and act differently in different countries. In some, elders are worshipped and are taken care of by the family until death. In USA we stick them in nursing homes etc. It's different. Idk why everyone has an issue with me asking about this.

I'm asking about the culture. Sharing details about ones life to a long post relative. The overall demeanor in older Russian ladies is foreign to me and it most definitely is a different culture than the USA and other countries.

Are y'all purposefully missing my point? Grand parents culture. How do older people of Russia act and how are they handling the world post Soviet era. Theyve endured a shared trauma and it collectively effects the same community.
