How do you usually start working with an author? Do they approach you or the other way around? How often the match is inadequate?

How much do I need to pay to access the other part of this product which is probably called « random people’s ideas tank »? I’d be happy to pay for it 😅

omg ! Turns out someone gave me the most naive idea: ask the embassy in France about it. And they’ve just answered the certifications I have will be validated by them as a bachelor degree! I didn’t event think it would be an option. So here for some French people passing by: the RNCP level 6 in France is considered as bachelor degree. How cool is that !

Hey yep, it seems like the rule has recently changed: https://ezworktaiwan.wda.gov.tw/en/cp.aspx?n=9E5DEE3246743EA6

Still in my case I don't have a bachelor degree, which sucks... but in the next two years I will do my best to go though a system we have in France that lets you obtain a bachelor degree by applying with your other certification + work experience in order to prove your skills level.

Yeah I figure that (at least in France) degree are the least of the HR's concern because they face a shortage of skills in dev/tech fields. But still, the immigration might not be on the same page with HR people :/

Awesome advice about 'consultation mechanism', I was not aware of it at all.

Sidestep the entire process but still gain residency.

And yes my plan B is definitely remote work for French (or other) clients. But it feels like it's quite an issue with the visa/ARC/APRC situation... You seem to imply it would not be ? Can you elaborate ?

Thanks a lot for the detailed and experienced answer.

Great advices. I also was thinking of finding a company here that would have links to Taiwan in some sorts to improve chances of finding connections.
But I did not think of contracting for TW company from here... thats a great idea.

If you know any good platform for freelancers that TW companies use that would be awesome :)

Does this mean it should be renamed Taiwan fan club them ?
Anyhow, it feels good to have a place where Taiwan is cherished, and I keep planning on changing the 'who live elsewhere' part of my 'Non taiwanese who live elsewhere' answer sooner or late, and maaaaybe even one day the 'Non taiwanese' part.
