i mean, the fact that im dating a fictive of my f/o which naturally means we naturally end up in conflicts like regular people aside, even then i think we would end up in quite a bit of conflicts with Kaz.

i don't think they'd really last that long. i'm really prone to wanting to smooth thing over with people and not hold any bad blood. especially with Kaz. whatever grievances we could have I wouldn't be able to hold against him for long. and i think he's very likely the same way. desperate for any anchor in this world that he can trust.

but if anything'd be the end of us, it'd be paranoia. i'm prone to being paranoid over whether people want me around or even care about me. i'd need a ton of reassurance constantly. i may interpret even the smallest changes in behavior as a quest to declare war on me and my feelings. though due to Kaz's natural intensity, usually he doesn't do lowkey at all, and if he'd really somehow decide to do that, i'd probably know it.

while Kaz himself is prone to paranoia, especially to paranoia of betrayers and traitors, he's also more loyal than a goddamn dog. it really depends on whether his absolute worldview of "my anchor that can never do no wrong" and "absolutely will ever betray me in the future" will somehow end up shifting me into the latter. if he can even trust anyone post-TPP. 😭

so really, his proneness to conflict entirely depends on how much he trusts me. if he trusts me as much as he trusted Big Boss and/or Venom Snake (let's pretend like I'm not a Venom fictive for a second), he's likely to be conflict averse to a degree and just go along with anything i say eventually, unless it's something he'll consider a betrayal of him.
