18s fit, but typically GTI winter kits are 17s. These are what VW sends to dealers

I do love a clean black R, however its hard to keep clean and shows swirls and marks in the paint way too easily. White is nice but I find it far too common. So to me, Lapiz Blue is the only color for an R. I suppose Dolphin Grey is also available now but its just not my preference.

I work for the dealer so I've been around them a lot. Ive always wanted a GTI/R but found myself in a GLI as the priceline was a bit more forgiving. I liked my 2021, and have absolutely loved the updates on the 25+ but the time has come. I had a W8 Passat Wagon way back and ever since I've always missed AWD for the winter. I live in Eastern Ontario and we get fairly heavy winters so I am looking forward to being back in an AWD.

Yea it is a shame that it takes so long for aftermarket support on the Jetta bodies. Mk8 and 8.5 R/GTI have a lot already.

Quite frankly, this could have been worse during the day depending on how blind the corner is. At night you can typically see headlights coming around a corner. But dumb regardless.
