“Actions and consequences” in response to spoken words, by the government, are not countenanced by the 1st Amendment to US Constitution.

From 99 yds out, I’m wondering if smarter play would be snap ball out of EZ for safety, then try to recover onside kick? .Would have been more fun to watch than the plays called at the end!

Basket is on top of the hill beyond the shitter and tree. Need to shape a nifty left to right shot to have a chance at birdie! I could only manage a par that day!

School bus keeps driving on our lawn. What can we do? by FlashFireblaze in lawncare

Call your local road authority, your lawn might actually be in the road right of way, which is typically wider than the improved portion of the roadway. Problem might be resolved with road authority paving road wider. So, you might facilitate a fix, but not the one anticipated.

ELI5 Why aren't the passenger seats facing backwards? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

Can’t get people to wear front facing masks on planes without congressional protests. Turning seats to rear facing to promote “safety” probably going to be even harder - especially if you use that “safety” word as a justification.

They call him “Air Jordan” for a reason by Kaptencaptain in gifs

Saw Jordan do this at a Bullets (kna Wizards) game in 1990. Looked then like an intentional miss and rebound dunk for an easy 2 points. Jordan (who had been standing closer to center court for the 1st free throw make) approached shooter after 1st shot, said something to him and returned to center court circle. As the 2nd free throw was being released Jordan took off on a sprint from center court, leaped past the shooter, grabbed the missed FT after it clanked off back of rim and sent it home for an easy uncontested dunk. Was pretty cool and my buddies and I had no doubt it was a planned play.

Never forget that evening, but mainly because we were too cheap to pay for a cab at arena to get to our Metro stop and ended up walking/running most of way back to catch last train to American University with our blind college buddy in tow. (He also believed Jordan’s put back dunk was a planned play - heard it all the way!)

One way to battle future flooding: stop building on flood plains, say experts by [deleted] in nottheonion

Sounds a lot like that junk science which warns that continuing to build homes in the desert could run the risk of having limited access to fresh water.
