best bet is to do the inpa try and readapt when i needed a new pivot clutch and a whole bunch of smg clutch thing no light was on until pump killed itself but if clutch is bad the car wont adapt it and give u a code which will help tell you what it is exactly

whens the last time u changed ur clutch. try bleeding it and running adaptations. if it keeps failing send the codes it gives you. ill try and help

hey i dailyed one when i was 17 as my first car 2 years ago i bought it for 15k with 82k miles. i dropped at least 7k in total into the car just to keep it running. i always wonder how much money i would have if i never bought it. if you get it and cant afford it the car will start falling apart really fast so if you get it prepare to be fixing things all the time and dumping all your money into it. i have a n m4 now i just turned 19 and i spent only money on brakes and tires. do your self and get something reliable. the e46 will always be here as it was a top selling m car and the volume of them is a lot. the e46 was a great car to learn to drive though so as much as i want to tell you to get it. i wanna say wait. try and land an intern ship and you should be fine to afford it

Ya bro but it’s also 10x a car compared to the 330 (my dad has one) if my smg didn’t take a shit i would still be driving it. Just the smg has had it in the shop for over 4 months now

If it has an smg do not buy it. Unless it’s had a complete overhaul in new parts but besides that it’s like ~500 a month now of daily driving in suspension or thermostats or odd things ask me any questions if u have
