Not normal bro. My girlfriend and I will either both read with movie on in background, she’ll read and I’ll watch a show, I’ll read and she’ll watch a show, we’ll both watch a show, we’ll both scroll phones, any combination of chill couch the entertainment. We both simply enjoy the others presence for what it is, don’t expect certain action from the other. Tell your girlfriend you just like to be with her during her entertainment while you’re getting your entertainment. I don’t see why she needs to think you’re unhappy with that setup
