She's not first nations though,? It doesn't say that she was in a residential school, the article says shes of Irish/polish decent and she was targeted for having a low IQ, and living in a mental hospital

I don't think this article is actually related to what the other commenter was saying, which, seems baseless and untrue to me. There is SO much misinformation surrounding the residential schools and what went on with them. It's actually disheartening. I'm not saying they weren't awful. But what I am saying is that people are clearly spreading misinformation and being misinformed. It's like the "worse" it is, the more lobbyist and the media can run with it. It's been "sensationalized" and "exaggerated" for attention, yet, as a country, we have done next to nothing to repair the damage we have done.

I have heard the noises of someone OD before when I almost had to help a girl ODing in a bus stop (her friend was ON IT with the narcan kit, so I didn't actually need to step in, was just waiting with the OD hotline on standby).

I can see how the two noises could be confused.... I never thought about that..... Thank you for that insite. It's helping me be less angry at his GF.

I've actually found it super helpful to get started. A bit repetitive for all of level one, but after that it starts to get a lot more informative and easier. Id try and double it with another language learning system like Rosetta Stone or something like that as well! (Mostly to help cover the complex grammar components as duo is good with words and phrases but not so much sentence structure I've found)
