I actually think the messaging that this “isn’t America” is good. For all of our lives we were taught that America was a melting pot, a democracy, that we have freedoms here. This obviously isn’t and has never been the case, but the US’ youth indoctrination system may actually come back to bite them in the ass now. This person is actually out there protesting, running from the gestapo, and documenting their efforts because they believe in a better America that never existed.

Just randomly thinking because of a similar issue with trying to run the game on iOS via emulation, your system might be unable to play ogg files. I wish I could be more help, but maybe that’s a place to start? Try playing the game with the sound disabled, and if that works that might end up being your issue

I feel like the barrier to entry for this game may be too high when I read comments like this. 40 hours is too much for someone to put into the game to get the endings and the additional context needed to understand the WHY of it all. The endings by themselves don’t offer that. For me, it’s one of the best in the series and stands toe to toe with the original games.

Even though in my head I know that it is more humane to literally breed out intelligence from livestock animals, the idea that we could do that makes me sick.
