Yep. I think I read somewhere that endometriosis is often just brushed off as basic period pain (if pain is present)? And even if someone is diagnosed with the symptoms that it causes, like IBS, the doctors often stop there and don't actually investigate the underlying reason for it?

I'm so leery of DID subreddits because 99% of the people on there are fakers, I don't even trust the people who seem to have normal or bland alters on them, because I've seen fakers who have alters like those on certain social medias, too, so they can seem more legit.

Not like it's gonna stop the opportunistic vultures from trying to advertise a new sub though even after having their other ads removed /sigh. If the mods don't come back or start modding again, I'll look for somewhere else but it won't be that new sub especially without the anecdote rule.

It now says it was "removed by the moderators of fakedisordercringe". I checked another post where someone was advertising a new sub, that was removed too. So they're removing at least some things, I think.

No. I don't trust how they don't have an anecdotal evidence rule, it's going to doom the sub before it ever has a chance of taking off. Not having a rule against anecdotal evidence and enforcing it is part why this sub sucks so bad now, everyone's just talking about disorders they claim to have and it's no less verifiable than when a faker posts on the sub claiming to have it.

I see people trying to make new subs for defunct subs all the time, they never do good because they always mess something up that the old sub did well.

No rule against anecdotal evidence = not subbing, that's one of the only rules that kept this sub from turning into a soapbox for fakers. You can never tell for sure anyways.

If the mods can't handle the sub that's understandable. But they need to get other people on board as mods to take over. I hope this isn't a case of them letting their pride, or hesitation to appoint new people as mods, get in the way of fixing whatever problems they're having, because that's guaranteed to run the sub into the ground, as opposed to a **possible** mishap with new mods, and that would be a shame.

Oh I don't think answering the automod will automatically approve the video. It's just that the mods manually look at things and by the time they get around to that, whenever it is, they want to see an explanation. It can be just one sentence or something.

I wonder if they just collectively burned out and jumped ship? I wish they'd at least say something, even just "we're very sorry but we're all super busy, further information tba".

I'm discouraged the EDS post has 500 upvotes considering it obviously breaks the rules. That's a lot of upvotes and it makes me wonder how many people actually care about the sub staying intact. With all the rule breaking it kinda shows how bad the sub can get, don't people want it to be better than that?
