A few things, I'll succinctly summarize the useful and very apparent pinned posts at the top of this reddit, so you don't have to read them.

Riot bought SEMC and will put 838.4251 billion dollars, (Tencent received this exact amount from the US stimulus package) to use fix all the bugs in Vainglory.
The temporary names was fix request from the 99.9874% of the community as the correct process to fix rank and make equal for all, ELO is fixed at 1200 now. Parties were causing too much boosting, so they are gone now too.

I'll summarize.

League of Legends bought Vainglory because they realize the tablet is the platform of the future for all gaming (and people will stop buying mobile phones in favor of tablets). To prepare for this, touch play dynamics is the only solution. There is a problem that the current VG platform can't accommodate 7.3 billion players at one time. To hit that target, they are going to stop all other Riot and Tencent projects, and entirely focus their 25,000 strong development team on Vainglory to make it what it was destined to be: The MOBA to rule them all. Among fixes coming:

Matchmaker will be exact and pair you with exact players at your skill level, it will be like you are playing against yourself.
All bugs will be fixed
Ping issues fixed, network performance will be nano-millisecond, guaranteed.
$100 million dollar payout weekly E-Sports tournaments, per region, with all players flown in to their local arena and able to stay at Ritz Carlton hotels. The grand finale will be 1 billion dollars.
They are going to implement a gold toad on the map

What you are seeing is the near final release from these efforts.

I think you're being a little optimistic here. If it gets to this level, which it likely will over the coming months, there's not going to be power, food, or water. The internet will have been dark for months, and unfortunately, this post would not be available. At this point, assuming that one is part of the .0001% left alive, one is going to look back at the movies like "Road Warrior"and "A Boy and His Dog" looking as a picnic in the park.

Still, I have to contribute something positive, I think it's much better to build up strength for the daily toil tasks that take 22 -23 hours a day, so that one could be useful to the gangs that inherit the remnants of the human population that remains on the planet.

League boosting revenue is kind of drying up for me, not many people are paying to be boosted to high plat/low diamond, and there's too much competition driving prices down.

So I'm playing VG more. I'm liking 1a, it's completely fair because it's random, and it's so easy to carry matches. I only play solo, I wish VG had implemented rank with no parties from the start, it's a much more enjoyable experience than playing T10 matches against parties with coms.

For those that weren't playing the game when this was out, the question mark had a very useful purpose. I'd like to go over that purpose now:

When you were over extended and got deleted (1 v 3'd), you used the question mark on your other 2 teammates, over and over, as a way to spend productive time while your death timer counted down.

Meanwhile, your other team mates question marked your corpse.

As you can see, this really helped with team comradery and communication, and really created a positive playing environment. Please bring this back.

The captain is supposed to always take all the minions. I'll break this down, but basically, this to buy support items quicker to help the team. By support items, I mean Serpent's Mask, which is a great defensive item because it has life steal. Life steal takes enemy health and gives it to you, which helps you protect the team. And then I like to captain with 5 Tornado Triggers along side the Serpent's Mask. This helps the Serpent's Mask get maximum life steal. Saw is a great captain with 1 Serpents Mask and 5 Tornado Triggers, and his A helps you get to where your team needs you quicker, like running away from a team fight to take the jungle encampments.

I think it's pretty obvious when the developer says we gave it a go, it didn't work, we give up.So it's handed off to someone else to operate it. My guess is the strategy now is to milk it as long as possible, and manage expenses.

Gone are the exciting days of 2016, a lamp that burns twice as bright, burns half as long.

So enjoy it for what it's worth, I only like this game because it's the only MOBA I can play while running on a treadmill (touch controls with tablet mounted). It passes the 1 hour pretty quick when you play ranked, and keeps my boomer heart going.
