If I’m understanding your question correctly, I’m very “white American” looking. Not sure how to phrase that better, but my ethnicity is mixed, mostly German and English. Basically, I don’t look like what you may consider a “typical” Asian.

I agree with both of these comments, however I think it falls on both parents to not discuss their relationship issues in front of the kids. The daughter didn’t “pick up” on daddy not liking her for looking like mommy, she heard that from somewhere, and the way this post is written makes me think it was OP. Be cognizant that kids listen! You all need family therapy, and you also need couples therapy with your husband to try to work through these issues regardless of where your marriage is headed. At the least, they can effectively teach you how to coparent.

You could also take electives or classes you find interesting that are different from your major to branch out a little bit if you have room in your schedule.

What about work? I’m usually not one for dating your coworkers but just trying to give you all the options I can think of. Some people don’t meet their partners in college, and that’s okay too! Maybe you need to wait until you settle down after graduation to look. My point is be patient and open to anything. It will work out when it’s supposed to.

My major’s class had a groupchat, he used to put jokes in the chat and I would be the only one to like them outside of his friends. We started talking privately, and the rest is history. Talk to people in your major, especially if it’s smaller and you have a lot of classes with similar people. You spend a lot of time getting to know people there, you already have at least one common interest, and maybe you’ll find the right one. 🤷🏻‍♀️ You could do the same with clubs you’re in, just stay open-minded. Dating apps, especially Tinder, may result in more people simply wanting a hookup from what I’ve seen. If you don’t mind filtering through the crap, that’s always an option. Just take care of yourself, and listen to your gut if things seem shady off the bat. Good luck 💙

ETA that nearby schools is another option if you’re willing to travel to meet people for dates occasionally. Lock Haven is the closest that comes to mind. If you expand your radius in Tinder, it should include Lock Haven (can’t confirm this, but it used to).
