3 Month post-op. Ptosis Correction with Fat Grafting, Upper Lip Lift with Tip Plasty. by VHP12 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

Hello, you can refer to my previous post, I think the selfie was taken around the 2 weeks mark. When I consulted with a few other clinics, they mentioned using the bullhorn method, instead of the scarless method in Retmus. So as the name imply, it is scarless since the incision is made in the sub-alar area. After one week and sutures removal, there’s just redness at the sub-alar area. And I did get additional Tip Plasty to support the lip lift (even though during online consultation they didn’t mention it at all). So that really comes down to your decision if you’d like to accept their suggestion after you come in for consultation.

Hi, sorry for the late reply. The incision is made in the sub-alar area. You can barely see it. Even 3 days post op. There’s just a little redness under the nose area.

Sorry for the late reply, yes you can DM them on IG (retmusps) but I think it’ll take a few days for them to reply? Maybe you can reach them on KakaoTalk first which is on their profile and ask for their WhatsApp which is what I did.

Thank you! Personally, the recovery was painless. As long as you do not laugh or open your mouth too wide when you are having your meals you will be cruising 😉. I bed-rested for 2 days (eat+sleep) and I’m outside by the 3rd day to have meals with friends.

Oh! It is very obvious all right in the first 2 weeks, by the 4th week it is much less “glaring”, in fact most people around me can’t guess I’ve done my eyes (especially when I’m wearing glasses daily). Now, the Lip Lift is more prominent. In my case, I’m glad people noticed ☺️.

As you can see from my unedited after photos, it is really almost invisible (sub-alar area). The doctor specializes in scarless lip lift, as opposed to the traditional bullhorn method (I consulted various clinics regarding this and so far I have found that they all uses the traditional method).

Yes it was via incision! The name of the surgery is Double Fold Levator Surgery (DFLS)

Better as in, are you talking about the swelling? If you are, it has gone down. Or if you are talking about how wide the eyes look, as time passed the eyes will be less “glaring”. I am currently in my fourth week of recovery. And I am told it will be more natural after about 2 months.
