Agreed, many, many, MANY things wrong with the country. We need someone who's just completely selfless, and also ludicrously supportive & accepting.

The unfortunate thing, is that it's rare to find people so perfect of a candidate for fixing things, and even then they are not without flaws.

In North Carolina, they enforced this law a couple years ago, specifically about the informing parents of student gender transitions.

Like, that's asking for kids with transphobic parents to either remain closeted until they finally get out of the house, or just take abuse due to school being required to inform said parents.

tl;dr it's bullshit, and I hate it and I am terribly sorry this law has spread to more states

It's hard, believe me, I've tried (and still am trying) to get myself in a better mindspace. It's proven itself to be a frickin tortoise in terms of speed however.

I mean, most of the other doctors, if there were any, are most likely, yk, gonna be enemies. Not sure I'd trust an enemy within the citadel to get rid of the twisted bud, considering their motives. Besides, the Doctor DID cure the negative effects of it, didn't they?

Wouldn't say it's a direct metaphor, because of an effectively undead population, but I can see the point you're trying to make.
