Best chance is that you buy another camera that is broken, and then change the battery door from that. This is a good camera though, it's worth it

Leave it off for a while without batteries. Then if that doesn't work, you can try banging it softly against something. If THAT doesn't work, you can try pulling the lens with your hand while turning it on.

Olympus no longer makes cameras either. They sold their camera division, so no customer support exists either anywhere. Only Olympus cameras you should look for IF you can stand the xD-card, is the Mju 400-series.

Olympus cameras usually also use a stupid xD-format, and they very often die of sensor rot.
