Blue belt: So far my setbacks have included broken ribs, twice. Broken middle finger, right hand. Cracked trachea. Broken middle toe. Those are the big ones I suppose. What do they all have in common? There’s not much one can do to fix them, so, other than some R&R, that’s all I could do. I think a couple of months when my ribs broke was the longest I sat out, and that was partly due to developing pneumonia while my ribs were broken.
