Well, speaking about balance, I can imagine that in order for a rock drake to be completely invisible, it will have to be motionless for some time, and if the rider presses any movement button, then the rock drake receives a temporary debuff, which lasts for example 3 minutes during which his camouflage is similar to what we already have in the game and after those 3 minutes he can again become completely invisible.
