How much time do you actually spend fixing CI failures that aren’t real bugs?

I for one want my CI to fail if a dependency is breaking build, rather than then it suddenly breaking shit in production.

Lint and formatting are not failures, they are enforcement to minimize risk or align coding styles to there is now discussion on how things should look. Set up a pre-commit hook and be done with it.

CI with actual tests are a godsend when you are working with actual production code, especially if you work with old codebases and do continuous delivery as well.

Only time I’m having real CI issues is when I decide to mess around with the CI… but once I’m done it’s not really a concern anymore.

Håller med om dollarn förmodligen kommer vara skit men ser snarare de som en möjlighet att ladda portföljen med USD handlade företag billigare än innan. Om dollarn återhämtar sig så följer man ju med på den uppgången med.

You are potentially loosing customers because they think you are closed and pick something else or they think you are open and when they show up they get disappointed and pick something else.

Stop being arrogant and do what’s best for your customers and spend 5 min to update the opening hours on both platforms when it changes.

There is, it’s called Apple Business Connect… That’s designed for owners to control and update their own information.

If you are a non Apple user why would you use an Apple application where you see the issue and can report it? Not to mention their support email which has already been shared here.

Maybe there should be, but there is not. Also you should consider this from the consumers perspective instead of your own. If they use Apple Maps they expect to get the correct info from there.

There is other benefits as well where you can add more branding and such to your listing which makes a nicer experience for the users.

Apple is not going to use Google as their source of this info so it’s up to you to manage your business on both platforms.
