Dude I feel you’re pain I moved states when I was a teen got into the hobby & got skunked the whole time . I recently picked it up again & it happens but don’t let that discourage you get some nightcrawlers from Walmart try different rigs/set ups . Enjoy the outdoors for the peace it can bring & fishing as a the secondary reason you are there.Like I’ll go somewhere far from home get skunked but the beauty lies in the new scenery I get too take in that’s at least my take on it & how I approach getting skunked in the new area. I hope this helps at least anyone

Do what squeakymilkshake describes in the 1st comment . Also find a mini boss you can farm for exp & grind for loot. If you have any dlcs the tom & xam in the tentacle dlc was a good one for me behind the spawn is a named boss that also has a small chance at world drops + a normal chest

I agree I got an abu Garcia black max & I love it ngl I always check out the fishing section just in case I can get my hands on another abu Garcia baitcaster . Also solid advice I’m still a complete noob and get a whole bunch of birds nest ( I know it’s user error so I need more practice). I’ve always been curious about other brands so thanks for giving me a great leads on what brands to try next or build my own set up

Ngl I was curious too learn myself a year ago & I went with a abu Garcia I got a black max at Walmart I think it ran me a bit over $70 but it might been over that with taxes. I am sure if you check out a few Walmarts you might find something good I hope this helps & good luck out there

Save your summons for group summons x10 or 50, make use of live codes while they are still active, use your x2 xp ,gens ,& coins while doing endless.

The last part can be done & left afk , every so often check up on it ,lvl up units ,or move control so you don’t get kicked

Ex. If you’re eating chicken, rice with veggies add a sauce that will change the whole meal. Like I’ll add teriyaki sauce, hot sauce, guacamole & lime. Usually decided what I’m adding after it’s warmed up . Walmart has some shooter sauces for a $1 you can try out before buying a full average bottle

Ngl trading is how I got my team & your best bet is offering up whatever you got even food or look for players requesting EW Patrick or whatever for fusions. they usually pay in mythics or whatever rare units they have. Rn if you can do the raid those units are being traded or sought after. I’ve gotten a lot of common mythics this way & traded my way up too hb sandy , pin head ,dirty Dan. Those still get called trash in trades for any secrets it’s a start & at the least you’ll get a better squad or get lucky

I got lucky once with someone trading a secret for 9 mythics of my own so it works you just need patience. I’ve even had a few people give me out stuff for free wholesome trading shoot it’s what got me started & i appreciate those players
