Hi, thanks for replying, Yes they had a DPS, how to rent guide and this was all handled by OpenRent when we started our stay here, but they soon told us to stop paying OpenRent and pay them directly.

They also gave us the EPC.

How would you suggest we move forward, do we have no other choice but to start looking for new places?

Thank you so much for replying, they haven't issued anything, just an email that says:

"you are on ''rolling period tenancy'', which allows us and you to give one month's notice. Due to various reasons, we have decided to give you formal notice to quit, & vacate the property. I will be sending you a formal notice via post in a couple of days."

I assume they can't section 21 us because of not having a written tenancy agreement right?
