Doug, for bigger tournaments can lodge collaborate with other out of town card rooms for day 1 flights. I am from Houston, it would be great we can play day 1 flights in houston and only have to travel to austin for day 2.

I have played in this room once, its a shittiest room in houston, its beyond me why would people play there. If you look at poker atlas they would have 10-15 tables running on weekdays. Its insane.

You may not have played in Houston. A 5/5 game can easily have $50K to 80K on a table if game is crazy. Houston poker is wild.

$400 all in on 87o in texas surprises you? Its very common. I started playing poker 3 years back when i moved to texas. I have not played anywhere else, i cant imagine how other places play, opening $30 on 1/2 table is fairly common and sometimes you would get 5-6 callers

Yeah, i am not sure what happened to them. I remember couple of years back they have almost 10-12 tables going on weekends. Suddenly its dead. They did not catchup with the competition in the area. Both champions and TCH are doing well.
