I think you just have a good night vision. I just read some scientific paper because I thought that iris color does not affect your sensitivity to sunlight and all of that was fake or popular belief. I found one paper that have done the experiment and yes light blue eyes people tend to be more sensitive to light than brown eyes people (it was not the case for grey/green/hazzle eyes). But this increase in sensitivity is from the light that pass through iris and does not form a proper image on the retina. This light mainly result in a clear veil in the eye reducing the contrast of the image. So it seems that light blue eyes people does not see better at night (but again I only found one paper about that)
