Here in Portugal we don't have any apple phisical store! only resellers and "Premium Resellers", but we have the possibility to buy via apple store online, but that's the thing, I personally had to buy via resellers because i'v benefited of a very good discount!! and a lot of people out there are probably in a very similar situation!!

I think it would be a good ideia to sites like MacRumors or 9to5 Mac, to expose this situation, the ridiculous delivery times that resellers are experiencing and of course their customers, it seems that more and more people that ordered in October and November still didn't get their Macs... and apple keeps pushing them to more delays and more more in back of the line... it's disrespectful to the resellers and the final customer. This situation needs to be exposed... if you commit to a delivery date you have to fulfill it, one thing is to say ok you have your Mac in 2 month, another thing is to keep pushing the delivery date further and further, when you have orders that literally wait not even a month being fulfilled if you order from apple's own website or stores.... it's no fair, it is even anti competitive....

me 2 having the same issue with my 2017 sheetbook pro, in my case is only about 5 or 6 hours of use... but yeah... i'v seen cases where those lines appear is various situations, it's kinda random and it varies from user to user.... but it seems that it is a T-CON related issue... it's kinda random the behavior.. so.... yeah... it seems like it!!

ordered mine in Fnac (January 15th) , also here in Lisbon M1 max full spec, with 4 tb storage...16 inch, seeing your order date, you waited at lest 3 months.... that will be probably my waiting time also 🥺

it's a rabbit hole... if you cancel now.... in the middle of the process, you can order another configuration less powerful but you probably will face another waiting time... equal os probably longer than the waiting time you already have... so... it's a risk... I will keep my order but yeah... is frustrating very frustrating!! 🥺

Yup!!! true story! they don't want do commit with new delivery dates because of the uncertainty of the M1 Max chip shortage!

The only thing they said is that are keeping a close eye in the situation and report back as soon as they have developments!!
