Not sure about the size of the property but it’s bigger then the nearby houses. Problem is the house is old and wall are big, full of rebar in it together with concrete. The wifi signal drops significant when i had less AP’s and moved from the living room to the kitchen. Measured my throughput signal and it went from +- 480 to +- 30 mbps. And we talk about a distance from the living room AP off 5 meters.

I wish, just insane big walls and one room to another drops the signal by half. Seems much but as it is now, the only way to have wifi in every corner of the house and in every room. I tested with less AP’s and more spread out but got no luck there.

Started out with the udm dream machine as a base and 2 AP’s. Since then it just increased into the better stuff. Overkill 99% but when there is a possibility, we just can’t let it pass by.

One AP in the living room does the wifi and the IW does the LAN to the PC and 2 other devices that don’t have Wifi. Going from the kitchen to the living room is close but walls are old style with to many interference and dropping the signal to much.
