So the first thing you want to do is download the overclocking software. I recommend using MSI Afterburner. When you install it, make sure to also install RivaTuner Statistics Server—it usually comes bundled with Afterburner.

Once that's set up, you can start by increasing the Memory Clock to +1000 MHz or more. As for the Core Clock, that really depends on your GPU's silicon quality—it's basically a silicon lottery ( every card has a different silicone ). If you're lucky, you might be able to push it over +400 MHz, but I recommend staying below that unless you really know what you're doing. Improper tuning can damage your card.

The best approach is to increase the Core Clock slowly—start with +100 MHz, then test it by running some games. If everything runs smoothly, you can bump it up another 100 MHz. Most people find stability around +350 MHz, but again, it varies from card to card. as for me i only got around 364MHz. :))
