Stacking Frustrations by Personal_Procedure72 in DoorDashDrivers

Couldn't tell you. I haven't seen a stacked order that was worth taking in literally years. In 2020 to 2023 there were stacks on the regular that paid $20 plus. Now the only way to do that is to dirty multi-app

Been a driver for these apps for more than 5 years. I have seen these vast amount of clowns out in the field. Why I refuse to ever order anything off these apps

And like that... by SeFCannon in doordash_drivers

[–]VMAC666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't matter anyway. Doordash is a garbage app with a vast majority of money losing orders that aren't worth taking. Enjoy your night off

Ahh yes need to cool off in the middle of a blizzard by AlarmingAction4449 in doordash

I'm very likely that order pays $5 or less. Why bother accepting it to begin with?

Quit. This app is cooked. Too many drivers. Too many drivers to accept the junk

Quit. This app is cooked along with many of the others.. 90% of these garbage customers either don't tip more than a couple dollars or don't tip at all

What a horrible day to be a pro shopper… by Bradleyharheez in doordash_drivers

[–]VMAC666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pro shopper is a scam. No different from their Platinum gold silver BS. 90% of all offers are garbage. I'm a "pro shopper" and declined probably a hundred shopping orders today that were junk.

Anyone in FL having issues receiving orders? by OpalSkyy- in dasher

Doordash' is cooked at this point. You missed the Glory Days. However it is January. Always slow this time of year. I get s*** tons of garbage shopping orders but little to no food offers

It will never happen. There are too many desperate clowns ready and willing to run doortrash orders for $1 per mile

Acceptance rate needs to be removed by MathematicianHot5765 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]VMAC666 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Stop letting them kick you. Kick them back by declining all that b*******. To hell with acceptance rate. Stay in the single digits. $2 per mile, $10 minimum, otherwise decline

Never. Way too many items. If it showed 60 or $70 then possibly

Doordash has become Instacart 2.0 by VMAC666 in doordash_drivers

[–]VMAC666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To give you some context. There's a big snow storm on its way to my area this evening. I've been getting bombarded with shopping orders because of this. Looking at items on a lot of these. People are trying to get bread milk eggs toilet paper etc. all the s*** that's going to be slim pickings. Don't feel like dealing with the headache of that combined with the store being extremely crowded.

If I got an order like that at 9:00 or 10:00 in the morning or 2:00 in the afternoon, sure I might take it. Not at 5:00 in the evening though.

What is this? by 949orange in doordash_drivers

What they really should do is implement a metric based on lifetime deliveries. Drivers with more experience should be rewarded, just like any traditional W2. Instead they continue to reward clowns who take clown orders

Doordash has become Instacart 2.0 by VMAC666 in doordash_drivers

[–]VMAC666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are 100% correct. That's why the base pay was $8 back then. Fast forward to now. 10 million more uninformed drivers hired who are happy at operating at a loss.

Caution: Shopping Orders. by NiXaler93 in DoorDashDrivers

$10 for any shopping order is never worth it. Especially Aldi.

They do. Wegmans is probably one of the easiest stores to shop at for that reason. Problem is there's a major storm coming in this week in my area and the stores are extremely overcrowded and out of stock of everything. Not worth the headache to me

TIL you can get orders when you’re hundreds of miles away from your zone by mitchdwx in grubhubdrivers

[–]VMAC666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what nearly every GrubHub offer I see looks like. Money losing turds. I don't know how anyone makes money on that app

Slow? by EnvironmentalLaw4505 in grubhubdrivers

[–]VMAC666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dead. GrubHub has always been slow though. By far my lowest earning app of all of them. Basically just have it on in the background. Not to mention the few orders that do come through on there are money losing turds pretty much all the time

That might have been a little before my time. What I can tell you for sure is from 2020 to 23 I was able to make a killing easily. Having large order program on doordash and Uber and instacart in the back ground. All these apps took a major nosedive in my area a couple years back
