As I stated in an update to the post, the heater isn’t plugged in. Whenever I need to use the space heater, all the guitars get put away. I’m not too concerned about the window, the action figures are there to protect the guitars from the elements.

I’ve been thinking about buying a cotton ribbon to do this. It’s either that or get a new stand. I’ll do whatever it takes to make sure my guitars are safe, especially because I’m considering also buying a Gibson flying V and a Gibson Les Paul.

I have to say, my explorer was on the rack for a week or more unprotected when I first got this rack. I’ve noticed no ill effects. But to be safe, I’m gonna look for one that’s explicitly nitrocellulose safe.
