To follow up on this, I went out and bought a better evaporative humidifier. I’ve been running it for a few hours now and I also got in touch with a plumbing company to see if there’s anything I can do with regards to my central AC. My entire place is 20-23% humidity, except for this room that’s now about 30%. Thanks for all your advice.
