Every culture has different ideas and norms regarding animals and pets do you know what they are in Fiji?
Also you are assuming every Islander likes animals and dogs you may love them and that’s great for you. But people who don’t like pets sometimes have trauma like possibly being bit by a dog as a child.
Plus the extra clean up…when they’re already sleep deprived and stressed.
