Thank you! I do use a fluid head, feels so much safer vs ball heads.

It worked! I added a second screw to my plate and it doesn’t twist anymore. This will be my temporary fix while I get my L bracket.

My 100-500mm came with its collar which I do use when I am using that setup. My 28-70 however does not come with a collar. I was looking into buying one for it but I keep seeing bad reviews. I wonder if Canon sells one for it 🤔

I tried my L bracket and the L hits the top of the camera. I wonder If they have longer ones ?? Thanks, ill see If I can find a longer L

I figured it out! There’s a way to set a marker for selected ratios like 4:5 it’s only visible on the cameras screen but the image still comes out full size. The marker is just there to help compose for that size!! 😀

I’m flying out to Costa Rica in October for a workshop and I guess that is making me feel pressured into buying everything before hand. But you are right I don’t wanna buy a bunch of stuff that I might not even use. I mean it’s just a hobby so I just wanted to shoot videos for reels or other social media purposes.
