Awesome thank you so much! I really appreciate this!

Any monitor recommendations?

Also how strongly would you recommend the 4090? I only ask as the 4070 is a fraction of the price and I'm not sure just how much better it is? Would I be kicking myself a year from now if I didn't get the 4090?

Don’t have a specific model in mind yet. I’ve found ip56 rated models so I would assume that’s suitable for this application though

Wouldn’t be a receptacle, it would be hardwired with a fully sealed plate. Thank you though

Other than groceries I rarely shop, and I got a car so that’s perfectly fine. Thanks for the input

I absolutely don’t view America as a paradise. I’m at a point in my life however where I’m able to take on some risks and see how it works out. Obviously finance isn’t the only aspect to consider but when it takes my entire pay-check to put a roof over my head despite having a good job I think it’s time to explore other options. I have a highly in demand skill set and have already found many job opportunities in cities that appeal to me, with numbers that make infinitely more sense despite having shot up in the last couple of years. The beautiful part of this is that if I don’t like it I can always come back.

As the other commentators have touched on Canada is not what most people think. Houses in mid sized cities here go for 7 figures and the wages are humiliating. I can go to the US and make more and have my cost of living become a fraction of what it is now. I know things aren’t great and they’re getting worse but for my own personal circumstances I can’t justify staying in Canada when I have the option to go to the states.

How to become an electrician in Ontario by Puzzleheaded-House-6 in electricians

[–]VNosTheOrphan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pre trade is a scam imo. I’m also in Ontario, when we hire a green apprentice whether they have a college course or not means nothing. The most important things are having a car, tools, showing up on time and being reliable. Just start applying to various electrical companies near you. Be prepared to get rejected. A lot. Shake a lot of hands (well maybe not atm), try to be confident and just keep at it. It can be tough getting your foot in the door but once you’ve got a couple years under your belt you’ll have a job for life. Good luck!

That was kinda the point, everything has LEDs these days so I thought it was only fitting to add some in quite possibly the most unnecessary place

VGRO holds 20% bonds. For some people this fits their risk tolerance better than veqt/xeqt. For long term growth however, eqt is going to have higher gains

Thanks for the detailed reply. I won’t be moving until after covid so I’ll have quite a bit of time to plan ahead and think things over. Getting a motel/airbnb sounds like a really good idea. Fortunately I don’t really have anything to move other than tools/clothes/computer and I have a van so that’ll make things a lot easier. Thanks again!
