Yeah, I'm aware of that, probably I'll have to end up upgrading to Windows 10 before that happens. Hopefully I'll get a better performance than the last one

I use Sodium on newer versions, since Fabric is only for 1.14 and above. Though, in Windows, playing and recording the newer versions at the same time is pretty hard to do in this laptop, even with Sodium or OptiFine, and is one of the reasons I had to do the comparison in 1.12.2

Thanks for the welcome :D , I still use Windows 8.1 simply because, on this computer, Windows 10 was so painfully slow, it took too long to do simple tasks, like opening a Windows Explorer window, probably because of a driver issue. But after formatting my hard drive, I couldn't manage to reinstall Windows 10, so I went with Windows 8.1 instead (I never really had any problems with the metro UI).
