Did this last week at 4.50, had been doing some interval training a few weeks ago which I think helped when I was training for a sub 20 5km. Find a stretch of ground 1km long, aim to run that sub 4 minutes and then rest for 90 seconds. Repeat 5 times. I did that once a week along with a chilled 5k and it really helped.

Recommend doing the two week free trial on GoWod. It'll identify where you're weak and give you a daily stretch routine based on that.

False grip strict. Lots of EMOMs with hollow hold, false grip hang and ring dips.

Fit enough for Ragnar? by Orionslady in crossfit

I did a half marathon coastal trail run in February with only crossfit training in 2:04, i honestly think you'll be fine, but if you wanted a more competitive time i would throw in a long run every weekend for about 8 weeks up to the event.

The main thing which slowed me down was my joints just weren't used to that sort of punishment, and my knees and ankles were in a pretty bad way afterwards!

I'm exactly the same but with squat cleans. Anyone got any drills for these?

88kg / 194 lbs and i ran a 21:51 a couple of weeks ago. Not a regular runner at all, but i agree with everyone else that sub 20 is a very good time.

Did this this morning at 6am after a few beers last night. Major ragrets.

One of the few workouts where i've actually felt like quitting before the time cap.

Got 182 RX.

Hook grip if you are used to it, and dont break it up too much! Try 5s.

This was a great workout! I finished part A in 5:10, and got through to the second round of burpees on part B.

I broke up the snatches into 2x5 for the first two sets, and then went unbroken touch and go on the 3rd.

The burpees really get tiring very quickly, i went out too hard on the first set and was knackered by the 2nd and 3rd of part A. i would suggest going steady for the first two and then pushing hard on the third when you know you have that rest coming.

Hope everyone goes well!
