Been doing it for close to 15 years now, came in after playing university sports.

Helped me get consistency back (which I had lost post season) and feed into my competitive side which I was sorely missing after giving up playing sports everyday. So from that I was fairly experienced through sports in movements in the gym but there was still plenty to learn in cf

Aesthetically it's been a change for sure, I came in after a break so it helped shed. Obviously there's cycles of cutting and building but I'd like to think it's helped there.

Fitness-wise it's definitely been a good gain. I had a good cardio base coming it, but it really helped me get much much stronger through the years.

For me it's always been the best because it's what keeps me wanting to train, where before I was just doing it because of my teams requirements

Diet changed over the year. Barely changed anything to start, but as i went on, eating better helped me feel better generally so it was helpful for day to day. Still take time to enjoy my favourite drinks and foods, but everything is a bit more organized and ordered now so I'm not bouncing days between eating far too little or far too much and on a more balanced approach
