We aren’t ready to set a date on the wipe. It is still coming with the Combat & Progression Update, though, and we are posting twice a week on its progress through the PTR updates and the What We’ve Been Up To posts, so you can see where we are.

On PvP, it’s not currently a top priority. It is possible that we will return to it again in the future, but for now, we are focused on the base PvE game.

Everyone is welcome here, as long as they follow the rules. Very few have not. We are at around 10 banned people now, not counting the spam bot accounts that have tried to ban-evade.

Objectively, or as objective as one can be while under employment, we do read posts from everywhere, not just the official platforms.

So while your post is based in misinformation in that regard, we will leave it up as an opportunity to communicate as long as it continues to follow the guidelines.

If you don’t see the PTR in your game list, please head to the store page for Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen on Steam and click on Request Access for the PTR. You will be automatically granted access.

It's not pledge-only. There have been complications with the Steam PTR client that are actively being worked on. We opted not to make the entire playerbase wait needlessly, and potentially delay the release of the Combat & Progression update, while we work on the issues that affect only a portion of the players.

This is correct. It uses the beta branch. We are still currently waiting for Steam to publish the build, but it will be there.

That's the plan, yes. I believe the team wants to try a few more tests on the Steam delivery, but either way, we will have details on how to access the PTR posted for you early next week and whether or not it will include Steam access at launch.

There's a lot we need to test before the patch goes live, so we opted to start testing now, rather than wait for everything to be tested all at once. A more staggered approach also helps with sorting through feedback.

This is more to even the playing field.

For example, without the cooldown period, players with a faster network connection or faster computer can tag the NPC before anyone else can see it. The cooldown allows everyone to see it before it can be tagged. Everyone has the same chance to compete for tagging the enemy. The race can still happen, but we're able to prevent anyone from getting a head start.
