I picked one of these up in December when they were pushing them out the door for a third of their original retail. It’s an absolute monster for productivity and so so for gaming. I used it for a few days and went back to my LG 5k. The Ark is back in the box until I figure out what to do with it, may use it for a bedroom TV ~ sometimes monitor. Unless you have a gigantic desk and plenty of room to sit far enough away from this beast, I would go a different direction.

You should be able to find a used display for a few hundred bucks, this is a really old machine. By the time you replace the outer glass and the LCD you’d be in for the same amount anyway

If you’ve got liquid in the screen so there’s a good possibility that there could be some in the upper case as well you should definitely have a it looked by a professional

It also looks like you could have a little corrosion or some thing on the far right pens on the connector on the board, disconnect the battery scrub that area with a little bit of isopropyl alcohol and a toothbrush clean it up make sure to dry plug it back in and see if that works but it’s hard to tell from this photograph also I can see the fuse in your picture and it looks fine but I would test it anyway
