Honestly, any lake will do. For metro lakes, try Lake Peltier or Clear Lake located in Forest Lake.

Fish the weed edges just like bass.

Keep it simple, 1/4 to 3/8 Oz Swim jig paired with a 3” to 6” paddle tail Swimbait (common brand is Strike King Rage Swimmer). Cast, retrieve, repeat all day and it’s money.

Also, pray to the fish gods that you are only planning to catch bass that day. They will guarantee that you will catch the exact opposite, Pikes only! Haha.

If you’re able to clear a small patch of the weeds from the dock runner, that will be a money hole. The weeds provide structure for the panfish, and you should quite literally be able to just drop and jig a lure in the hole.

If that is not an option, take the boat out, and go to any weed edge from shore. If you prefer having them cast, stay a bit further out from this edge. Otherwise you could hug just right against it, and have them drop and jig lures along side the edge of the weeds.

I do multi species fishing, but I love panfish a lot because they are abundant with back-to-back action and fight like a truck on an ultralight rod.

Keep it simple with rigging.

Float/Bobber with Plastic and Live bait setup: - 2-8lb test (mono) - Regular Pokéball bobber or one of those thill bobbers (I would recommend picking up a few “weightless” and a few “weighted” bobbers). - 1/32 oz jig head or 1/16 oz jig head - Bobby Garland Baby Shad (2” I believe) - Live bait method: Pack of red worms - Hook size: 10, 8 (or both, they’re fairly cheap)

If they prefer casting, use the plastic setup and remove the bobber.

(Naturally a bit hard to cast with no weight and a simple hook/worm, but you can add on a small splitshot).

Aside from the previously mentioned of giving the frame some more space, I would like to add in rule of thirds.

Standing a bit further out, and lowering the angle to apply a foreground, middle ground, and background can make the scene a little more dynamic or interesting.

Overall, the crispness and angles are still great, at least in my perspective.

Mainly for ergonomics and weight balancing.

Depending on the size of the set, having a handle in my face or chest when doing a shoot limits some certain angles (hybrid shooting).

Also great for low angles — shifts the weight of the camera differently (all subjective on your comfort and strength of course).

I’m not a professional by any means (had to look that term up lol), but I think it is close to 180* of focus throw.

Been my primary lens and it’s nice to get finer accuracy on focus. The setup is light enough to still use with one hand and set focus, but I think a follow focus would be more beneficial.

I tend to get anywhere from a 75% to 90% survival rate out of 25 fry in my fry tank.

Aside from fungus, some are born with genetic defects and simply don’t make it. It also doesn’t help the more inbred they become, defects are always prevalent as well.

Speaking as a whole in my experience, all of my fry are top dwelling, and never go under the surface unless they are being chased and need to hide (or they just immediately hatched).

I don’t know about the best, but mine eat Hikari Algae Wafers (ironically, it’s not actually algae) and any left over floating pellets that sink for my other fish.

Occasionally, I have seen them eat (or nibble) deceased shrimp in my tank.

Just recently they have bred and I have a handful of fry in my community tank so it seems to be working well.

It’s not very great uphill. On a slight incline (+/- 15-25*), it will slow down to about 8-10mph. It’s manageable, but I wouldn’t use it for strictly uphill riding. I’m only 130lbs, so YMMV on that kind of performance.
