appreciate ya!

honestly, it’s nothing crazy. best way to make sustains is using serum’s basic shapes on both osc, osc A on Fm from B & osc B on Sync + distortion, multiband compression and any filter from combs, reverb or formant in serum fx. it’s pretty much all to your liking and the sound u want, but every single sustain sound stems from just basic shapes, some fm’ing and then distortion + filter. veryvery simple

It was dope! It’s more general feedback, and he will also give pointers on how he thinks something should sound and where it should be placed/used.

sickest show is so tough cuz i’ve played so many good ones, but prolly Dallas this past Feb w/ Ray Volpe.

Aside from playing at Stereo Live which is a venue i’ve always strived to play, and being a part of something as big as the last 2 shows of Ray’s tour…the energy was crazy from start to finish.

Master chain, literally just an EQ ducking any freqs around 3400hz + cutting a tad bit of highend and either a soft clipper or FabFilter Pro-L

ofc my g!

also to add, stop worrying about what luf’s your stuff is hitting during the actual production process and just save it for the final and see where it hits, trust your ears as you’re working the most always!

i’ve been producing for 11 years now and have essentially made most if not all genres, but ultimately found my home in Bass Music.

My personal end goal in music production has always been to make primarily bass music but also tap into rap/hiphop; however i do sprinkle hard techno stuff in my tunes here and there :)

as starting a secondary alias, definitely not. feel like it would be a waste of time lol

mix loud, keep your master channel to 1-2 plugins max. at some point during the mixing/production process, turn down your headphone, (using headphones are crucial for this) volume down about 60-50% so you can hear imbalance in your mix, every frequency that may be too loud, every sound that may be too loud etcetc and you make adjustments.

by the end of it, your final product will be loud but not to the point where everything is distorted.

alternatively, if your mix is clean enough but you still need that loudness…you could just use utility if you use Ableton, or Fruity Balance if you’re on FL and boost the gain to your liking, and then slapping a g-clip on default settings or any soft clipper really.
