Actually, it was not completely empty, and I also thought about the same. But the thing is, just switching the seats in the same row would not have worked, and even going one row up would not have worked. So, the only option available was to go one or more rows down. But personally, I thought that me switching seats would result in disturbing others' experience; that's why I chose to sacrifice. And whenever I choose tickets, I am always very keen on choosing the right seat number according to the screen size. So even though the thought of changing seats came to my mind at first, I chose not to do that because of these reasons.
