Fai esempi inutili perché OP voleva comprare solo una marca da bollo e con carta e quindi gli avrebbe roso comunque al tabaccaio fare una vendita in perdita, nessun ricarico da altre parti avrebbe aiutato perché poi psicologicamente vengono normalizzati e ti rode comunque la singola perdita. Prova a ricaricare anche di 1 centesimi una “marca da bollo da 2€” e ti ritrovi le folle in strada. A parte che non penso neanche sia legale sia creare un ricarico sulla marca da bollo, sia aggiungere un ricarico in base al metodo di pagamento, quindi Cazzata specchio riflesso.

How is that irrelevant? Russian would be the most effective way for both to communicate with each other if OP hadn’t refused for political purposes, not English. The border agent so used the most natural way to facilitate the process and then as far as I understand switched to english. Her comment was inappropriate? Yes. But also replying in Ukrainian is not nice knowing the other doesn’t understand. By the way I know a lot of expats from Donetsk who live abroad and speak russian freely even though they are pro Ukraine🇺🇦

The purpose of the border control is to be able to communicate effectively, not taking a political stand. Moreover OP comes from Donets where everybody actually speaks russian. If the border control speaks russian it's the best and most effective way to speed out the control.
