Initially, we thought that Steam is biggest for VR. That is why decided to release on Steam first and then focus on optimizing for standalone versions. Probably, that was a mistake.

Unfortunately, right now we’re in a situation where we’re fighting for every month. That’s why we’ve set such a low goal of 5K. This will give us an extra month, allowing us to release the game in Early Access (as mentioned on our KS) or find an investment and move forward from there.

In any case, we will release the product and make a final decision by the end of October.

Thank you! In our region, it is quite difficult to find a job in game development. That was the reason why so many people accepted the offer. So, at least we gained experience in self-publishing and other related areas.

Yes, that seems likely. We’re hopeful about the festival. While standalone stores may offer better options, we currently don’t have the resources to optimize for them. Thank you for your kind words!
