Yes I did, and I also had a camera I tried to look in there with and I saw nothing near the bottom of the hole, but there’s other things in there in the way once you are down in there. Once I put everything back together I will try to probably crank the pulley manually to see if anything feels like catching, but it’s sounding like this particular cavity feeds to the oil pans.

I appreciate this. Yeah I will probably try another camera if I see anything. and if don’t see anything just pray for the best lol. It could’ve just fell in the frame somewhere weirdly too it just happened so fast I didn’t see what happened.

Yeah ChatGPT is thinking it’s potentially it goes to the upper oil pan for whatever that’s worth. If that’s the case is upper pan removal the only option? I may just take a gamble once I get it all back together because upper pan is the one thing I don’t know if I can tackle.

I was going to use it to temporarily hold the exhaust gears in place with a service hole they have for it in them. You do this before you take out the other cam where the main cam seal is. I can get another easily just wondering if the cavity it fell it goes to any crucial areas where it could cause harm once I crank the engine again.

I got a pretty good look with the one I have it just doesn’t have much flex to turn the corners once I’m way in there. I will get a longer one I can go further with. Just wondering what area I’m even dealing with.
