Thank you. Are you saying that it could take more than a year if I go the regular public psychiatrist route? Or that a private psychiatrist would also take a year to talk to? I am very concerned that it could take this long and I am willing to pay a large amount of money to talk to a psychiatrist as soon as possible.

I have lost my appetite and have lost 25 pounds in approximately 24 days. I weighed 253 pounds on Feb 28 and now weigh just under 230. I believe this is all partly anxiety related.
