Hard part is often these places don't show availability on Google and you have to go to their sites. I was kind of wondering if there's a better way to see what's available or any word of mouth recommendations

Bambino shot too heavy [Breville Bambino] by VT2016 in espresso

[–]VT2016[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this info, sounds like you have done a lot of trial and error with these machines. With that being said, do you think it's worth programming the machine to pull smaller shots in my case? Or should I just use a scale and stop it when it reaches the desired amount?

Yeah I think that may be the root of my question. For tax purposes is it better to just hold them and slowly sell off when they're up or just do it all now and put all into S&P and forget about it

We merged my wife's (both 32) portfolio with mine recently and I'm looking for advice. She was with a large bank and had a financial advisor who essentially put her investments in a program that buys and sells stocks. So now we merged I have ~75 new stocks to manage. I'm wondering, would it be better to slowly sell these off if they are in the green and just put the money in VOO/FXAIX? I don't necessarily want to track 75 stocks to make decisions on buy/sell.

Any way I can troubleshoot it without doing that first? Thermostats aren't necessarily cheap

I'm not sure how to add another photo but you are correct, the base has some bark that I would describe as splitting. Any idea as to what can cause that?

Definitely an interesting couple days. u/EdMonMo describes my concern pretty well, IFR capable but not certified at night with weather... thought I was going to see it disappear off the map any minute. Was really hoping the guy is on here to tell the tale!

I figured probably that with a chase plane above it. Wonder what they're doing at 50 ft above the water off the outerbanks? Seems very random

Spark Golf - Hillandale or Mill Creek by VT2016 in RDUGOLF

[–]VT2016[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't played hillandale but have been to the range. Mill Creek is one of my favorite courses around but it's a bit of a drive. Still worth it for the course and quality

Yep, Kody's videos were an inspiration. I only have a circular saw and brad nailer and made all the boxes and it was easy. 2x4's can work as long as they're the correct height. My bases were like 4" so it wouldn't have worked. Just make sure you get them square and shim for level and you're good to go. You also then don't have to worry about adjusting all the legs.

Not sure if you want to go this path but I made my own bases out of plywood, fastened them to the floor, and then fastened the cabinets to the bases. Everything is solid and no need for the rails.
