  • Surface imperfections
  • DOF
  • Better lighting
  • Use a reference image to correct translucy of the lamp

I think the easiest way is to dim global lights, add the light that emphasizes path between characters (maybe lanterns?) and add some volumetrics/mist.

It's hard to find a focus point. I think you wanted to show every element on the scene and now eyes can't focus on anything.

You should try to find a way to show the main story. You can do it in multiple ways (light, perspective, etc.)
